Welcome Pizza Party

6pm-9pm

We are so grateful you were able to travel to join us for our wedding. Please join us at the Casale de Pasquinelli villa for a welcome party with wine and pizza!

The welcome party will be a white party so please wear white and join us in welcoming all our family and friends to Italy at the villa to enjoy the night before our wedding.

For those staying in Lucca city centre, there will be transportation provided. Departure will be promptly at 5:30pm from Lucca Porta Elisa to Casale de Pasquinelli and return at 9pm. For all other locations please arrange a taxi from your accommodations, or enjoy the short walk from hillside locations.

White summer dresses, linens, and casual dress shirts are appropriate, please also wear shoes comfortable for walking on grass/uneven ground and keep in mind temperatures may drop as the sun goes down so prepare accordingly.

Wedding Day

3pm-1am

Please join us back at the villa for our wedding day! Ceremony will start promptly at 4pm but there will be drinks being served during your arrival so please arrive around 3:30pm to have a drink, find a seat, and get settled. (We will not be allowing entrance after 4pm, until after the ceremony is complete, so as to not disturb the other guests - but you will be welcome to join the cocktail hour after).

We are providing transportation for those who requested it on their original wedding RSVP. For those staying in hillside locations such as Airbnb groups and Tenuta San Pietro, please be ready outside your address for pickup at 3:10pm. For those guests staying in Lucca city centre, such as Hotel Ilaria guests, please make your way to Porta Elisa Lucca for pickup promptly at 3pm so there is enough time to make it to the villa. All return trips will be after the festivities conclude around 1am, so if you need to leave earlier please organize a taxi or transportation through your accommodations or hotel.

The wedding dress code is formal so we ask that all guests please dress in formal attire. We would like to remind guests, especially the ladies, that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all happen outdoors on grass and uneven ground; we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and you may want a sweater or jacket for the evening if it gets chilly.

**Note** We are asking to have an unplugged ceremony, which means we are requesting that no phones or electronic devices are out during the ceremony or while we walk down the aisle. We have wonderful photographers attending the entire day and we would love for our ceremony photos not to feature any guests taking pictures or using their personal cell phones throughout. So please make sure they are switched to silent/turned off and stored prior to the ceremony beginning and you are welcome to use them during the cocktail hour and throughout the remainder of the night!

Farewell Pool Party
Recovery Day

12pm-3pm

Come drink off your hangover with a garden pool party! Some sandwiches and drinks, and hopefully some sunny weather, provided to sit around the pool for a rest and recovery day!

The pool will be open for those who would like to swim so feel free to bring or wear your bathing suits!

  • The attire for Friday's welcome party is white! Semi formal garden attire is suggested, khaki or light colored pants and white dresses are more than appropriate. For our wedding day we kindly ask guests to follow a formal dress code. Ladies, please opt for evening gowns or chic cocktail dresses. Gentlemen, a suit or tux is perfect. We appreciate you dressing up to celebrate with us! The farewell pool day on Sunday is completely casual, wear whatever you would like and be comfortable in for the weather! Hopefully it will be nice enough for bathing suits and swimming. All 3 days we advise ladies to wear shoes for uneven ground they can wear on grass.

  • All of the wedding events are at the Villa which is Casale de Pasquinelli. A bus into Lucca will be provided the day of the wedding for those staying in the city center hotels.

  • Hopefully you already know how you’re getting to Italy already and where you’re staying in Lucca!

    There is more info provided above for each events transportation plan, please pay close attention to pick up times so you do not miss or hold up transportation.

    For the Friday welcome party, we are providing some limited transportation for guests staying further from the villa, in Lucca city centre with pickup at Porta Elisa Lucca at 5:30pm with a return at approximately 9pm to Porta Elisa.

    For the wedding, we have organized transportation for all guests who requested it on their RSVP. If you did not, and now think you need it, we will do our best to accommodate you but please reach out ASAP with your needs and your lodging address. Pickup will also be at Porta Elisa Lucca for those staying in Lucca at 3pm sharp. There will be another shuttle for those staying in the hillside, so be ready outside at 3:10pm.

    We only have one return time scheduled, which is after the festivities conclude at around 1am, so please keep this in mind and organize other transportation if you think you will need it.

    Unfortunately there will be no transportation provided on Sunday for our farewell lunch, this will be more casual and there will be no expectations for attendance.

    There are taxis throughout Lucca, but it is advised to organize them ahead of time if possible. Your hotel front desk or Airbnb host can most likely assist with this.
